Week 15:

This week we got alot done. We got all of the plating done and fitted, for the rear fender, and underneath the seats. Also, we started reassembling the engine, which was interesting. They dont lie when they say the third time is a charm, cause thats how many tries it took to get the pistons in. Unlike how the manual said to do it(which was put the pistons on the rods, then put the compressors on and then the cylninders on), we had to put the pistons in the cylinders, push them down just enough so we can fit the wrist pin in, then put the pistons on the roads witch out bringing them down past the rings.... Needless to say it took us awhile but we got them in. The next trouble we ran into was with the cam, we havent fully tackled this problem yet but we are working on it. Also, we got the headlight mounts created and made, after realizing that we could have done things another way, we just finished this way and if we have time well go back and do it again and make them a bit cooler(the mounts onto the forks that is). So thats about where we are right now.
