Week 7
|

Mike working on a model of the rear brake mount and looking sinister.

Here are a few shots of the motor mount plates. We are working on hanging the motor so it dosent hit the frame.

Now we have the output shaft and the swing arm pivot in line, but the chain still hits the chain glide.

D got a dirt bike set up for a different approach on the cooling. We have to get the motor in place before we can make a decision.

The kick starter is hitting the frame here, so back to the drawing board.

A little closer now...

On a more positive note, here are a few shots of the rear brake hanger Sam made up. It fits perfectly! Now we have to add one more piece to it so it dosen't spin on the axel and it will be ready to be made out of aluminum.
We are making all the templates in "Inventor"; the software package from Auto Desk and it is making everything a bit easier, at least for making changes to original drawings.
