Niskayuna High School is outside Schenectady NY with a student population of around 1500. Our Technology program offers 12 classes and 2 different programs of study and has 3 teachers. One track is engineering and the other is manufacturing . We are currently under a complete renovation of the HS building in which the Tech department is taking the brunt of the first stages of construction. We are in temporary space for 2-3 years. This is why you will notice such drastic changes in our classrooms between the CB project and the TZ project. It will be all for the better in the long run!

I am currently working on getting together a "Green" motorcycle which will be chronicled on this site also. We are going to use a CRF450 chassis and electric motor with Lithium Ion batteries. I am going to put together another team for this project which will consist of students from the Science department and Technology department. We are going to base the style on the 450x class race bikes. It should be cool! There are more strings attached to this project so it is going to take some time . We are going to try to make this bike a realistic commuter vehicle with enough range to get to work and back on a single charge and also have the style and handling of a modern sport bike.
