We made a spacer so we can offset the new rotor we have, so the caliper will stay out of the spokes. Next is the caliper hanger.

It's time to figure out how we are going to make the motor fit. We put it up on a base for a garbage can, so now we can roll it around and see what we have to do. As you can see we made a decision on the tank for now, at least until the body work comes in.




Now we have to start stuffing the motor in this thing...

We hung the radiator to see if things would fit, and from the looks of things we might have a problem.

This side looks great! If only the other side was as good...

Here are a couple of shots from underneath looking up to see what is getting in the way.


We need to get the output shaft in line with the swing arm pivot without rocking the motor too far forward. This is getting fun now. Well there is no reason to sugarcoat the problems here. Like D says "we'll attack one problem at a time 'til we create a few more!"'

The radiator is just hanging to see how much room we have to move the motor backwards.
